Lisa Geason-Bauer, President of Evolution Marketing is actively involved in shaping the discussion within the Wisconsin business community regarding issues of sustainaL.Geason-Bauer.Headshot.10.5.2014.LRbility and corporate social responsible. Ms. Geason-Bauer has been an Advisor to the WI Sustainable Business Council (WSBC) since 2011 and Evolution Marketing has been a business participant in the WSBC’s Green Masters Program since its inception in 2009. Under Lisa’s leadership, in 2013 Evolution Marketing was named the first communications firm in WI to be recognized at the “Masters” level (meaning they scored in the top 20% of all participating companies in the program). Ms. Geason-Bauer leads by example, demonstrating how a small business can be managed and operated in an environmentally, socially and economically responsible manner. In 2014 Ms. Geason-Bauer was awarded the 2014 Earth Day Sustainable Business Leadership Award (in the small business category, i.e. a company with under 100 employees), she embraces the possibilities of change and integrates principles of sustainability into day-to-day business operations. In November, Lisa was recognized by the Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce as the 2014 Women in Business Leader of the Year for her contributions to the success of many community based organizations and projects, including Greener Oconomowoc, the Oconomowoc summer and winter farmers markets and Imagination Station.  Lisa exemplifies the characteristics of the generation under 40 who turn their values and vocation into a profession.

Born ‘green’ and making the world a better place, by Donna Frake

Jan. 20th, 2014 “Meet Your Neighbor” special section in the Oconomowoc Focus and Lake Country Reporter Newspapers.

It’s not hard to figure out where City of Oconomowoc resident Lisa Geason-Bauer got her love of the environment. After all, she was born “green.”

President of Evolution Marketing and well-known for her passion and involvement in a multitude of environmentally friendly causes, Geason-Bauer grew up on her family’s farm in Hartland.

The third generation of the Geason family to attend Arrowhead High School, Geason-Bauer was a member of the class of 1994, and went on to receive a degree in sociology and criminal justice from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and complete graduate level course work in social psychology, sociology of agriculture and the environment at Michigan State University.

She and her husband, Michael, have resided in the City of Oconomowoc for the last nine years and have worked diligently to encourage residents to become more ecology minded……..

Michael Bauer is Evolution Marketing’s Design Associate and Green Print Manager.  Michael joined the Evolution Marketing team in 2010, he is an experienced graphic designer and  is an expert in green printing practices, sustainable paper sourcing solutions.   Prior to joining the creative team at Evolution Marketing, he worked in construction as a tile contractor.
